01 — Who are we?
Stolkwebdesign is a sole proprietorship owned by Peter Stolk, based in Uithoorn, the Netherlands. We are the data controller responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy policy.

02 — What data do we process?
We only process personal data that you provide to us yourself through the contact form or when booking a call:
- Name
- Email address
- The content of your message or question
- Date and time of submission
- When booking an appointment (via Cal.com): name, email address and appointment details
03 — Why do we process this data?
- Answering questions and requests submitted through the contact form
- Scheduling and confirming introductory calls
- Performance of any agreement
We never use your data for marketing purposes without your explicit consent, and we do not share it with third parties for commercial purposes.
04 — Legal basis
- Contact form: legitimate interest — answering business enquiries (art. 6 para. 1(f) GDPR)
- Appointment management via Cal.com: performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (art. 6 para. 1(b) GDPR)
- Statistics & marketing cookies: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (art. 6 para. 1(a) GDPR)
05 — Retention period
Data from the contact form is retained for a maximum of 1 year after the last contact, unless an ongoing business relationship exists. After that, it is deleted from our systems.
06 — Third parties
We use the following external services that may process personal data:
- Cal.com (US) — appointment management. Cal.com processes your name and email address when you book a call. See cal.com/privacy.
- Google LLC (US) — Google Fonts. When the website loads, fonts are retrieved from Google's servers, whereby technical data (including your IP address) is sent to Google. See policies.google.com/privacy.
- Google Analytics (Google LLC, US) — anonymous website statistics. Loaded only after you have given consent for statistics cookies. See policies.google.com/privacy.
- Meta Platforms (Meta/Facebook Pixel, US & Ireland) — measures the effect of ads on Facebook/Instagram. Loaded only after you have given consent for marketing cookies. See Meta's privacy policy.
- Notion (US) — internal processing of contact requests. Messages submitted through the contact form are stored in a secure Notion database that is accessible only to Stolkwebdesign.
Where required, we conclude a data processing agreement with processors with whom we have a structural relationship.
07 — Cookies
This website uses cookies in three categories. Necessary cookies are always on; statistics and marketing cookies are only placed after you have given consent via our cookie banner.
- Necessary — required for the operation of the site, including the appointment feature (Cal.com session cookies when you click "Book a call") and remembering your cookie preferences. No consent is required for these.
- Statistics — Google Analytics — anonymously measures how the site is used so we can improve
it. Sets cookies such as
_gaand_gid. Loaded only after your consent. - Marketing — Meta Pixel — from Meta (Facebook/Instagram), to make ads more relevant and
measure their effect. Sets cookies such as
_fbpand_fbc. Loaded only after your consent. - localStorage (not a cookie) — the website stores portfolio data in your browser's local storage. This does not contain any personal data.
On your first visit we ask for your consent for statistics and marketing cookies via a cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. You can also always delete cookies through your browser settings.
08 — Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
- Right of access — request which data we hold about you
- Right to rectification — have inaccurate data corrected
- Right to erasure — have your data deleted
- Right to restriction of processing
- Right to object to processing
- Right to data portability
You can submit a request via info@stolkwebdesign.nl. We respond within 4 weeks.
09 — Filing a complaint
Are you not satisfied with how we handle your data? Then you have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
10 — Changes
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy. Please consult this page regularly for the most up-to-date version. The date at the top indicates when the policy was last updated.
